AccountScout's Terms of Service

By accessing and using our service, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

When you pay for AccountScout, everything is handled by our payment processor Stripe. Through Stripe, we can see records of your payments and the last four digits and expiration date of credit cards.

When you contact AccountScout with a question or to ask for help, we'll keep that correspondence, and the email address, for future reference. When you browse our marketing pages, we'll track that for statistical purposes (like conversion rates and to test new designs). We also store any information you volunteer, like surveys, for as long as it makes sense.

AccountScout is a HubSpot app that automatically enriches company records with publicly available business information. The Service operates as an integration within your HubSpot account and requires appropriate HubSpot permissions to function.

• Information collected includes: company names, descriptions, employee counts, locations, founding years, and other publicly available business data
• No private or login-protected information is accessed
• Data accuracy is point-in-time and subject to change
• You are responsible for verifying critical business information

AccountScout uses publicly available business information from a variety of legitimate sources. The largest single source is the CompanyEnrich.com API which aggregates public business information using only ethical and legitimate means.

The information collected includes: company names, descriptions, employee counts, locations, founding years, and other publicly available business data. No private or login-protected information is accessed.

Any additional data sources we may use follow the same principles of only utilizing publicly available information obtained through legitimate means.

By using AccountScout, you acknowledge that our enrichment data comes from legitimate sources of publicly available business information. While we strive to provide accurate data, data accuracy is point-in-time and subject to change.

AccountScout does not sell, rent, or otherwise distribute the enriched data to third parties. The data is used solely for the purpose of enriching your company records within HubSpot.

• All changes are logged for audit purposes
• Enrichment occurs automatically when new companies are created

AccountScout takes your data privacy seriously. We commit to:

• Treating your HubSpot account information and company data as confidential
• Using your data solely to provide the AccountScout service
• Not sharing your company information with unauthorized third parties
• Maintaining appropriate security measures to protect your data
• Ensuring our team members are bound by confidentiality obligations

This confidentiality commitment continues even after you stop using our service. The only exceptions are information that becomes publicly available through no fault of ours, information we already knew, or disclosures required by law.

The Company reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part of the Service with or without notice. However, any material changes to how we process Customer Data will be communicated at least 30 days prior to implementation. Customers will be provided with details of the nature of such changes and their potential impact on data processing activities.

Prices of all Services are subject to change upon 30 days notice from us. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to the or the Service itself. The Company shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
